1996 f250 351 into fox body
hey guys, new here but i have been doing some reading previous to my first post. i know there is a sticky for this swap but i had a few other questions. im not doing this build just yet but i want to start getting my ideas put together
i have a 302 in my car now with gt40 aluminum heads, ford x cam, bbk ssi intake manifold. i know the cam and the heads will work but the holes for the head bolts need to be opened up some.
i know the lower intake manifold will not fit do they make a kit to make this work or can i get a new lower to fit this engine and bolt up to my existing upper?
would my heads be worth reusing would they work well with this motor?
next this may be a dumb question but would a '96 351 be a roller motor?
and does any one know if the water pumps flow the same direction?
thanks for the help

GT40 heads don't flow for schit...
Useless for power on a 302 so on a 351, the point is moot.
Go with either AFR heads, TrickFlow twisted wedge or Edelbrock Victor JR.
They're all good pieces.
185cc would be a minimum on a 351 mill but for something over 450 horses you'll need 205cc and above, especially if you plan to go FI.
I'm building a 408 for my 70 Cougar at the moment and I will use AFR 205cc heads.
The 185s that are on my 347 right now won't do.
