GT Duals with H Pipe
My car went to the mufler shop today. Really cool place! They specialize in magnaplow performance. Heras Auto Shop for those that live in the San Diego Area. Anyway I got my GT mufflers installed and had them make an H pipe for me. He kept trying to get me to go for a Flowmaster at $300. I can always do that later. What are you guys opinions on the Flowmaster? Im gonna stick with the GT duals for now.

I like my GT duals, they sound good, not annoyingly loud but a good low note. It also Dyno'ed at 210HP with 238 torque with those mufflers and an AFE CAI and Bamachip 87 perf tune. Not bad numbers for a minimum of bolt-on's, I doubt the Magnaflows could do much better.

2006Ride, how much did the fab of the h-pipe and take off muffler install end up costing you? If you dont mind. I got a set of takeoff mufflers that Im looking to get installed. Did the muffler shop cut the bumper for you?

Where in san diego is this shop? i live in san diego and i have never heard of it. And they only specialize in magnaflows? i actually want to step up American Thunder Flowermasters. The GT take offs are really doing it for me now. I want something way louder. They were trying to get you to go with the flowmasters/H-pipe/and install for 300 bucks?!

Too each their own I guess ... but my single GT take-off is about as loud as I would want. Sounds great with the windows down and my stereo system still sounds great with the windows up. I will be going to duals once I get the funds together.

Ok I actually installed the GT takeoff bumper so I had no need to cut the valance. The H-pipe cost me about $250. I guess thats kinda pricey for what others are claiming. But he did an excellent job. Heras Auto Shop is located in Vista, on Santa Fe Ave. Its not far from North County Ford. Magnoflow, Flowmaster, Dynomax, and others. Here is the Info:
