for the 11000 or so miles I drove my 06 4.0 I averaged just at 22 except when I took it on a highway trip and averaged a little over 27 with the ac on&cruising around 75-80
with the 2010 over the 5 tanks of gas I have used average mpg has been just over 21 with the best being a 23.4 tank and the worst my last tank at 19.6. I always do gallons used divided by miles driven never trust the dash readout they are notoriously innacurate in my experience.

To be honest, I don't know that I have my computer corrected for my tire size, as they are not quite stock. I just know what my dash thing says and I'd say I average 20 or so with mixed driving.

However, this is not city driving, it is a lot of cruising between 40 and 50mph. I also don't beat on my car much, so it helps.
Ok, maybe not everyone - just sayin... Last time I saw this question asked, so many people were claiming ridiculous numbers like 29 or higher while getting on it all the time and mixed driving. Maybe they weren't purposely inflating their numbers and just hadn't adjusted their computers for their tires much like me. I know when I had my snow tires on and didn't have my computer adjusted, it would show me getting as high as 37 mpg at times lol

Haha ya I know what you are saying, but if people wanted to brag about gas mileage, well then they should have got a prius. I do get great gas mileage for a GT, but I do usually take it easy, been pulled over enough times already.

Combining city/highway I'm getting about 24 mpg with my K&N cold air intake and duals. I'll be changing my oil in the next couple of days, maybe that'll help some too. I drive fairly aggressively on the street and speed up on the highway, but when I hit top speed use cruise control any chance I get

Yesterday I reset it while I was going 45 on the back roads, then went on the highway for about 5 minutes and when I got off the highway it said 23mpg. This would be good but after sitting at a few lights it was back down to 17 again. I guess its just my city driving thats killing my mileage. Staggolee did the K&N intake improve your mileage at all or just your performance? They claim a 7 hp gain with the dynograph on their website.
