2005 V6 needs more power!!

You are probably correct, I think they all cam with tru-trac or T-loc though......just wasn't sure on the gear ratio. Either way, the V-6 needs better gears out back to match the GT's, and a better differential.......both will cost money.

VMP tuning has 400 on his 4.0 with even more boost.
So, you're telling us that a CAI+tune on your "awesome GT" can get you those number at the wheels?
Hey, we can't help it if you have a small one.
Oh and re size your damn sig!

P.S. 05-09 GT's came with 3:55 for the Manual and 3:31 for the auto.

that would make sense if you had a ferarri front.. you tool lol.... and im pretty sure i call my car fake snake .. idc i love the gt500 look its the best looking car to me... why dont you say that stuff to mellowyellow and cutterwolf and other guys who have the badges on the car like me even tho i still have the GT emblems on the side... idiot.

and you guys are taking it overboard i just stated the obvs. stuff that if you want to add more power i suggest you get a GT sooner than later so u dont blow money on a v6you guys get so offended bout your v6's... i bought one cuz i loved the look of mustangs.. and then i got really into mustangs and wanted a v8 because ifeel like thats the true muscle car mustang and i love the sound of a v8 engine nothing beats that. plus my v6 was automatic and now my v8 is manual.. so idk keep thinking im a troll or something bc i was just voicing my opinion to this person trying 2 help him out before he maybe blows money on gears n headers n such and then gets a v8 and cant transfer those upgrades over.. w.e ill go back to the v8 threads with my 'fake snake' that i get ridicolous compliments about... laterrr

Crap, I hope your not blowing your money on a supercharger only to really want a GT500 later.
You should be really proud of your car as it is a black beauty and you obviously care about it. Keep in mind that a lot of people that are on this forum are enthusiaists. Regardless of what kind of Mustang they have a lot has been invested in the vehicle. I don't feel I've wasted any money or time on my sixer and frankly I don't believe it is an issue of sensitivity more of you just not "getting it". With enough coin I can drop any engine in my car but in the end it is still a Mustang, regardless. Maybe one day I'll choose to do that but it won't be because someone with a V8 says I'm wasting my time upgrading my 6 banger.

i do want a gt500 but the price of a v6 to a GT is nowhere close to a price of a GT to a GT500 ... if i wasnt 20 years old and could afford a gt500 id def get it... i already work construction 8am-4pm and then work 5-11 at another place some nights.. so i bust my *** for everything i have on my car.. and hopefully when im older and this car doesnt run anymore i can afford a real gt500

Back to the thread topic, there's a limited amount of power you can achieve with bolt-ons for a V6. At some point, you'll have three choices: be satisfied and stop modding; upgrade to a larger engine, whether is be a GT or swapping engines in your V6; or go F/I (supercharger or turbo). It all depends what YOU want to do, what you're looking for, what your plans are for the car now and in the future, etc.
Enjoy your car(s) now. Do what you want. And respect other Mustang owners in their choices for what mods they do. So many of us have similar cars, but even with similar mods, a lot of differences exist. It's cool exchanging ideas with others and seeing what others are doing and have done with their rides.
