True Duals- Crossmember Problem?
Ok, I finally bought the Pypes True Dual kit for my 2010 V6. Dropped it off at the shop today, and they put it on the lift and immediately realized the hangers that are supposed to be attached to the crossmember aren't there. So, the mechanics there told me they need to find those hangers to attach the x-pipe.
Here's the problem, I had made sure, and I mean, MADE SURE I had everything to install the exhaust. I just did research and discovered that the 08-'10 sixers don't have these hangers on the crossmember, and are very hard to come by.
Are the mounts necessary? Because I also found information saying the mounts aren't needed at all because how the system is already supported and hung.
Thanks for the help.

its been a long time and i`m 2nd thinking right now. if it wasnt snowing, i`d go look but i think those hangers are connected to the y pipe. and i think i cut my y pipe after those hangers for my h pipe, so i think i still have them. i dont think they are really needed and ya, alot of guys cut them off trying to stop rattles or drones. ive never had much of a issue
