Any definitive resouces on 4.0L mod gains?
Hey guys, just wondering if there was any definitive resource on power gains from bolt on mods to these 4.0L Mustangs?
Things like CAI comparisons, suspension mod 1/4 mile and 60ft times, etc.?
I've searched around and found a lot of conflicting information. Didn't know if there was something I didn't know about.

CAI comparisons? If you've researched the forum, you'll find that CAI's are relatively equivalent in performance with tune-required CAI's being the preferred choice since it's the tune that determines 75-85% of the CAI & tune combo's gains. Tune-required CAI's tend to flow a bit more air unless the no-tune CAI has a removable baffle. So don't worry about the CAI; worry about who writes the tunes.
The 4.0, like the 4.6, gains well from the CAI & tune but after that, gains are minor. If you can afford to go FI, you should.

I definitely understand that and appreciate the reply.
was however looking for more empirical data for more accurate information.
