Mustang V6 lighting issues
Hello all, I'm new here, and have a question regarding my lights on my '06 Mustang v-6. I just put it on the road for summer, sat for 4 months over winter. Now my left signals and left brake lights don't work, my brake lights flicker on the right then go out. If my ebrake is on, my right right brake lights work fine though. my right headlight is out too, but both highbeams work. That said, with the headlights on, if I try my left signal (which doesn't work) and touch my brakes, it will make the right rear signals flash.
Anyone have any ideas??
Thanks in advance

Did you store it outside for the winter? It seems strange that it would only involve lighting issues, but when I hear of multiple electrical problems happening at the same time, my first thought is a wet Smart Junction Box. It's a common problem in the early S197's. Check the carpeting on your front passengers side floor for dampness or a musty smell.

Ditto what Bitter said. There's a TSB regarding chronic water leaks on the early S197's that cause SJB contact corrosion resulting in electrical gremlins. I always recommend ruling out the water leak before any further troubleshooting.
