Default '05 v6 with 7.5 rear end

Hi
I had to pull the axels out of my rear end and have them back in with new oil and it sounds like they are not getting any oil and I did replace the wheel bearings and seals tho....could it be the bearings are seated properly...I did pull diff cover off to check ring and pinion along with spider gears which all looked good no sign of anything wrong....any suggestions??? I did add friction modifier too....

What do you mean "sounds like they arent getting oil" and the friction modifier is unneccesary unless you have a locking rear diff.

heres what I did...I bought a wildwood brake pkg for my rear brakes and in order to do this I had to remove my axels in order to mount the mounting hardware for the brakes,so when I did so I thought I would replace bearings and seals while I was at it.and it turns out I also replace the speed sensors as well. I put everything back together same axels in same side, new oil(royal Purple first time.) spider gears went in fine perfect....added oil and went for test drive round the block started making noise..like gears weren't getting any oil...only hear it in the car and only while going forward...not revesrse....took diff cover off to see and everything looked fine no sign of any damage....

Sounds like you didn't put the spider gears back in correctly. You shouldn't have needed to pull them out to pull axles anyway.

Just the center pin and c clips then slide axles out.

And how much oil did you put in? Did you check the fluid level? (remove the drain plug, feel inside with a finger, there should be fluid just below the fill hole).

And +1, why did you mess with the spyder gears? You just remove the retaining pin for axle removal.

As far as the wheel bearings and seals, the bearings need to sit all the way in; but if they weren't in enough, the seal wouldn't go in properly. so you probably got that ok.
Just sounds like not enough fluid or something went in wrong.

Also, make sure it's not the brakes that are making noise!!! Did you put in different calipers? Did you compress the calipers, and if so, did you use the proper tool to do it?
