Underdrive Pulley Question

Underdrive Pulley Question
I am concerned that if I install the underdrive pulleys I may suffer some electrical problems and possibly overheat. Overheating is my biggest concern. Will it effect the computer in anyway? I heard that Steeda will do those things and other brands don't. Any thoughts, recomendations and prices. As always I appreciate your help.

RE: Underdrive Pulley Question
i have BBK and the only thing i noticed was that at low idol when it is warmed up the lights will dim a little but as soon as you touch the gas they go right back up. BTW i did notice a little power gain

RE: Underdrive Pulley Question
I think it only affects older stangs or stangs with high miles. My friend has them on his 01 GT and they haven't given him problems. But at idle at a stoplight, the lights do dim when he has the a/c and radio on.
*If you are really concerned, I think you could get an aftermarket alternator. They have more coils of wire packed in there, so they squeeze out more juice per rotation. Also, look at a timing adjuster...you can save alot of money buying the two together (i forget if it's steeda or march...think it's march ~$280.00). When you adjust your timing AND have the pulleys, you get a much better difference for your money.
