TR3650 Transmission Noise

TR3650 Transmission Noise
My car just started making a scratching or rubbing noise; very faint either coming from the clutch or transmission. Not sure which one, but I'd like to hope it's the clutch. It's a light scratching, or sound like if you were rubbing your feet on the ground. First it just did it in reverse, now I've heard it in some of the other forward gears. Any ideas? Also, anyone upgrade to a 6-speed? I was thinking of the D&D Viper spec T56 if the POS 3650 goes. Any thoughts?

RE: TR3650 Transmission Noise
I thought about it, but correct me if I'm wrong here. The ratios for the TKO (which is the most cost effective) are 3.27 1.9 1.3 1.0 .68. My over drive gear in the TR3650 is a .62. But I was thinking the Mopar T56 (2.66 1.78 1.3 1.0 .74 .5 ratios) for the high torque capacity and for the .5 overdrive. That way, even with 3.9 rear end, I still get like 1500rpm @ go in the highest gear, but pull harder through 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gears. 1st is a low 2.66 with the T56, so that might not be good with out a supercharger, but that's what I plan to do later. So basically, I wanted to get the added acceleration, but avoid the higher rpm the TKO will have on the highway. My car is a regular driven street car I plan to keep a long long time.
