MM&FF dyno tested a stock 03 with an 5 speed. With a MAM and underdrives, it put down 245 HP to the wheels I believe. Those are pretty nice numbers for a automatic, but still believeable.

#'s are not unbelievable. I dyno'd 228.9rwhp, & 271.7ft-lbs as my best stock pull. I guy I talked w/pulled 235rwhp, & 263ft-lbs. My car had nothing changed to it at all, not even mufflers. Now, however, I made a few modifications, & made my appointment to get my dynotune'd chip
. If I remember right, I told you that 270 was not a difficult # to acheive, or even have at the crank (that is EASY part). 10 CRANK hp is still only 5rwhp, or so. Noticeable, but not unbelievable. Nice #'s from ur car though. How many miles do u have on it?

Congratulations on the good info about yourt stang!
I wondered if ford ever stopped that under rating.Apparently not.Yeah it is for insurance purposes.Can you imagine your bill if you had a stock 425 HP mustang?They would rape you on the bills.They have been doing this since the pony wars began and especially after the insurance taes started skyrocketing.

I always thought Ford overrated their cars? They even got in trouble for it, or so I heard. BTW yellow, nice pulls. Must have been a productive day at the plant when yours was produced. From some of the dyno's I've seen with just flows, both Stangs and F-body's, I'm starting to believe they add more hp than I have been hearing about. I always heard they were just for sound mainly.
