Default 427 CobraJET

In a recent 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords magazine article, they showed a 427 pushing 1,047 HP on 93 Octane. What all would I be looking at if I was to get one of those motors and drop it into my mach1?

I know I will have to get some custom fab'd headers (to mate with the existing exhaust), a fab'd bracket for my shaker, new motor mounts, and a different trans/bellhousing etc.... what else should i be looking at? BTW, I would be getting a longblock if that was w the way I was going

Tons and tons and tons and tons of money.

Just give hellion and VT engines a call for a more streetable setup that will still make 1000 HP if thats what you need.

Exactly. If it was as easy as it may seem, TONS of people would be doing it. Modding cars can **** you off to know end, because once you start, and once you start getting your first mods, you don't want to stop, and the money involved is ridiculous. Im hooked and I hate it. LoL.

Good luck, stay safe. If you're in the military don't they pay you like $1500 a month and cover all your basic living costs? That's like $1500 spending money every month.
