FYI: gas mileage... yes you can get 30mpg!
My odometer broke at 82K miles, I'd guess my car has maybe 110K on it now.
I was going to Orlando out of Miami.
On the way out of Miami I stopped to fill it. I was close to empty..
The pump trigger was hard to press, and the lock was broken, and the pump was going really slowly, so I quit pumping at $20 which was just a little over 1/2 a tank, figuring I might be getting bad gas and my hand was tired and I just wanted to hit the road.
Going like 70-80, Windows down (AC off), I rolled into Orlando with a about as much gas as I started with!
That is 240 miles, 7 gallons of gas = 30+ mpg. Not bad for a v8 car.
These gas prices are BS. Not the Mustang...

Thats just the thing, I was not grany-shifting.
I was passing everyone, except at the toll booths. I left my sunpass device at home so I could get the manual tickets to turn into work
totally, a tune-up might be in order.
Mine in the last year has gotten new injectors, intake, plugs, wires, coil-packs, exhaust, fluid changes, front-end alignment, new tires, etc...
All that stuff helps...

Shifting at 2k will probably net you worse gas mileage?
