how to tell if a pi swap has been done
i got a 98 gt , the gave had no history on the car whatsoever. im not sure what has been done to this thing, and well honestly i dont know how a gt gets up and moves with the swap, i have never been in another stang to compare it

As someone who has a 98 GT and then swapped to a 99 PI motor, if your car is fast you have a PI head swap! LOL really, you could probably take itto a speed shop and they would have to look at the intake and heads. Or you could just dyno it. If you dont really have anything else on the car, you should make about 200-215 atthe wheel. If you have the PI heads, you will probably make closer to 260.

If you can keep up with 99-04 GT's you have a PI swap. If you get whipped by em, you don't

I dont think 260 HP from the wheels is going to happen out of a stock 99-04 mustang either. My car has the majority of bolt-ons including headers and a superchip tuner and it only produced 238 RWHP on a dyno about 3 months ago. It made 278 Ft/lbs of torque. Now either the dyno was off, or thats all the power you should get at the wheels from a PI motor.
