Ok.....So I bought my 97 GT this spring and even tho summer has just begun I have to put the car up for storage until next year because I have to leave for Training and then for school with no break inbetween. I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for storing my car in my garage. I do live in the North so salt will be a problem come November. Do I want to get the whole car up off the ground? 4 Jack stands? 2 jack stands and 2 wheel ramps or do I not want the car to be on its wheels. This is the first car I have had to store and been worried about things getting on it. Thanks in advanced.

Raise it and use 4 jackstands. Keep the gas tank full with stabilizer in it. Put a vinyl or rubber mat underneath it.

What will the rubber mat underneath do for storing it? Just curious...

It keeps moisture from coming up through the concrete.

What kinda jack stands do you guys recommend. The ones that I have been using are old and I need to get New ones. Also what kinda jack cuz I dont even have one I've been using a friends. I'm kinda looking for cheap but good for both but I guess cuz its safety related I could spend a little more than I want. Thanks again.
