Default Exhausts-what one & why?

Ok what exhausts are you 4.6 owners running and why did you choose the one you have. I cannot have a loud exhaust and must use cats. My immediate goal is to get my 260HP motor to 300+HP.
I have heard Bassani from 2 guys. I am looking for an X-pipe with high flow cats, aluminized is fine. Then what cat back would you recommend for good flow with a fairly quiet sound. I know high flow and quiet don't go together but what have you guys found as I am new.
I understand Pypes says their xpipes are worth 10WHP and then the cat back another 10HP, not bad. Please share your experience. Thanks, mark

jebus he said quiet, o/r h and lm's, i think straight pipes are quieter LOL,
if you want quiet look into a flowmaster force2 system, pretty tame I hear but flow almost as good as anything else.

I cannot have a loud exhaust and must use cats.
sounds to me like you want to do one of the following

Stock H Pipe
-choose any catback, will be louder, but not LOUD like a high flow catted or o/r pipe

High FLow Catted Pipe
-choose anything but SLP LM I's, SLP LM II's, Borla Stingers, Magnaflow Magnapacks
..that leaves a bunch, including, but not limited to:

Magnaflows, Bassanni, most Flowmasters, Steeda etc...

(as to why i chose my exhaust, i wanted a burble at idle, and an aggressive loud sound... guess what, i got both )
