Default Ordering New Exhaust...

Whats up everyone. I just graduated High School about 3 weeks ago and have some extra $$ to spend on some things for the Mustang. I am 99% sure i am going to order a SLP LMII catback today or tomorrow. I was just wondering if anyone could give me some feedback on this CB and any sites to order from. I have been looking around and everyone is charging right around $420. Is this a decent price? Any pictures/ sound clips would be great also. My car is a bone stock 99GT. Thanks in advance!

LM2's are pretty nice. If your planning to stay with a stock Midpipe and Headers, LM1's arent that bad... But, if you go aftermarket with those, be warned... itll be looouuudd and probably have some rasp, depending on the type of midpipe.

EDIT: SORRY... Dont know why the first post is out there

Thanks for the input, i was thinking of going with a catted x down the road to avoid emissions crap. And so it isnt obnoxiously raspy and loud. I also heard that the LM2's arent as raspy as LM1's... is this true??

I'm going to be getting LMIIs in about a week or so. I think it is one of the best catbacks out there. RPMoutlet I would say is the way to go price wise.

I've got the LM2s and a catted x and I really like it. I've had a few issues with small leaks around the clamps since it's a modular exhaust, but it's not that big of a deal and I'm still happy I got it.

I purchased from LMPerformance.com for about $380, but that was 4 months ago and the price has since gone up about $60. Looks like you could get it from MustangTuning.com for about $414 with their 6% discount and free shipping, but they often have things backordered, so I would check with them first before ordering if you're in a hurry. RPMOutlet.com looks like a good place too at about $420 w/ free shipping.

+1 on the Loudmouth II's... I plan on getting those myself later on... if someone hasnt already told you about it, streetfire.net has some good videos for SLP's but alot of them are for the LM I's.
