RE: all this talk about nitrous
If you want to run the safest possible setup while still getting alot of bang for your buck, run a 100 shot from a reputable company, use all of the safety items like a RPM window, WOT switch, pressure switch, heater, purge, etc etc) and most importantly..
GET IT TUNED. I know alot of people (code included) ran a fairly large shot for a long time on a stock engine. IMO though, a tune is a pretty cheap insurance policy, and you might as well get the most out of the car that you can.

RE: all this talk about nitrous
I'd place my bet with Zex. I've only run 8 lbs through (bottle has too low of pressure now, to use the rest at about 65 degrees outside). I've been very cautious with it and got just the kit, no extras... no bottle warmer, no window switch (this is the one that worries me, and the reason I have not gone through much nitrous), also, I have not been able to get it tuned simply because there are no tuning shops around here. Some day I'll buy a wideband O2, and some tuning software and get it taken care of myself, but until then, I'm using pretty much factory everything, and I haven't had any problems.
