Default Getting 3.73s

WAIT!!!.......before i get flamed for not going with 4.10s here is why... one of my buddies at work is very good friends with a shop (his fox body runs 10.7 quarter all motor) and he says he has some 3.73s brand new just laying around that he is willing to sell to me for 100 bucks. he also said he would install them for 150 with the install kit.... im not going to find a deal like this ever again so i decided to go with it. quick question though, how much difference can i expect from my 3.27 stockers?

Better yet..

You can get those 3.73's, sell them to someone else, for $140 (all gears usually cost the same, no matter what ratio), and STILL have him install for $150..

It's a win-win.. You must have patience Grasshopper...

Yea except i would have to pay full price for 4.10s and i do alot of highway driving and i have flows, so the high rpms at 80 arent gonna cut it

3.73s in an sn95 and 3.73s in an 1999-2004 are completely different. i believe the sn95s came with 2.73 (correct me if im wrong) and the 99-04 came with 3.27s so the jump is going to be much different......bottom line, look at what year stang someone is driving when they reccomend it

Most sn95's came with 3.08's. There were a few that came with 3.27's. I think 2.73's were stopped being put in some year of the fox body.
