Yeah, kinda thought so. But can a Gt with a few bolt ons like mine listed below really run a 13.1 with slicks?

Do Mach 1's have speed limiters?</P>


Last night, I got up to 125 mph in 4th gear and that was around over 5000 rpms. I had to slow down cuz of traffic.</P>


I would not think my car has a limiter, but let me know if you guys know.</P>

I can hit 130 no problemo, but as many of you, I like the 0 - quarter mile better.Plus, going superfast on the highway or whatever is really not smart, nor safe. Cops, old ladys, and semis, Ill stick to the track.

My 96 gt, stock except for the 12 inch tips i got on it, is governed at 136mph, and how would i go about taking the governer off, like would i need a chip or what?
