Not true.. 99+ GT's numbers were equal or better than the 96-98 cobras and some where even equal or better than the 99 Cobra...The 01-02 Cobra's were quicker because the problem they had with the 99 Cobra had been correct and they REALLY put out the advertised 320 hp...the 99 didn't until the fix were ordered.

Not true.. 99+ GT's numbers were equal or better than the 96-98 cobras and some where even equal or better than the 99 Cobra...The 01-02 Cobra's were quicker because the problem they had with the 99 Cobra had been correct and they REALLY put out the advertised 320 hp...the 99 didn't until the fix were ordered.

You said any cobra in stock form (4.6) 96-98 would beat ANY GT...that even means the 99+ Models and that's not a true statement...The 99+GT out performed the 99 cobra in most performance test and that was the reason 99 cobra owners became curious about their horsepower output. The 99 Cobra out performed your 96-98 cobras...and if you still had your cobra...I would take that bet and prove you wrong.
I think 96-98 cobras were overrated just to be able to keep up with the camaro....The LT1's beat them until they retired it in 98...You guys come on here and say these 99+ GT's out perform LT1's camaro's but the truth is...The LT1 Camaro never lost to the 96-97 cobra's..Chevy built the 98 maro with the LS1 to set the record straight once and for all..

Sorry buddy. The LS1 isnt all that either! LOL Its a nice ride and is considered GOD in many aspects but the 4.6 can be modded right to hang. I do it all the time. The LS1 just has a longer stroke and bigger bore so it has a lot better top end. Bottom end, mustand will be right beside it in the 1/4... well mine will at least! LOL
