It seems like the Cobra is definately the way to go. How much boost are most people putting on the '99 Cobras? Are they staying under 12?

OK, if I was to get a Cobra, Is there much of a difference between the 97-98 models and the 99-2002 models? I think that the 2003+ will be too expensive cuz of the performance boost that they get with the blower.

if you want something well in budget, still is f-ing quick, go for a 96-98 gt, everyone says they are THE slowest gt's made to date, who cares, its a V8!!!, find a cheap one then do a PI head swap on it, put you right up there with the newer gt's then also, and personally, the 94-98 body style awesome, compared to the boxy feel i get from the newer ones

I totally agree on the head swap. I am gonna buy another mustang and do that head swap. Take the heads from my car and replace them with some ported ones. Along with some cams/longtubes. Maybe I can dip into the 11's with a better shortblock. Now I am thinkin/dreamin.
