Ahhh, the old 'have your cake and eat it too' parable. Of course, what good is cake if you can't eat it, right?

Do you think slicks for the track would do much for you?

Maybe. I am running consistent 1.7x 60's. I need to get in the 1.5-1.6 60's.

I think slicks are the route you need to take, Mitch. Once you start bottle feeding the bucket, you'll pretty much need them anyway. You only have to use them at the track and drive on the DRs.

How much will the pump free up, anyway?

Your suspension is pretty much done and there's not much more to get from the motor. Have you replaced the radiator with an aluminum one? That would shed a few more pounds I'd think.

I am not running DR's. I run the old school MT ET Streets, which are basically cheater slicks. I am still running the stock radiator. The electric water pump is supposed to be good for around 10hp.

Oops, I missed the MT ETs.

I don't know that there is much more to do after the pump swap and still keep the streets. If this doesn't do it, what's the next step?

Not sure, probably some tweaking...maybe an airbag in the right rear spring. The left front tire is lifting 2-3 inches higher than the left. I have a few other tricks up my sleeve.
