I'm not sure if this has been covered yet. I thought that higher octane the higher the price? But whereever I go midgrade gasoline is the cheapest. Any reason why?

because no one goes for mid grade anymore? oil companies know joe-smo gets 87 and sports cars and richer people get premium...so they can get more for their money there, but 89 is manufactured, but not as high in demand...im sure it will scale when ppl either start using it or gas companies can cut back on it

Certainly isn't that way here. There are a few gas stations that have E10 that's 89 for the same price as 87 though, but it's more expensive usually.

Never seen in that way...although I never pay attention to 89, no one buys that crap anyways.

10 cent difference between the 3 grades 90% of the time. But recently theyve been jackin the 93 up 11 or 12 cents more than 89. Bastards.

It sucks having a Mach, having to use premium but oddly i seem to get better gas milage with the Mach than I do with the V6
