what do i need to get 12 sec slip? have 1000 bucks!
i have a full bolt on 5 speed 2000 gt. best run to date is 13.5 with 2.1 60 ft. on street tires...i recently got nitto 555r drag radials but havent gotten back to the track, so it will probably be spring. i want to do cam install but i would like to get a 12 sec slip with aftermarket cams, what could i get to get a 12 sec slip without doing cams, i have 1000 to spend for xmas!

ive got spray but dont want to use to get it a 12 sec slip. i want a n/a 12 sec slip...what all could i get for a grand to help me get that slip i want

Assuming full boltons means gears/exhaust/intake/pulleys with your new nittos and the cams all you should really need is the good driver mod.

Steal a jet engine off an F22 Raptor and bolt it to your roof 
Lol no seriously. You say you have spray. Did you run a 13.5 with or without the spray? Cuz if you ran a 13.5 with spray, you got a lot to go to get into the 12's NA. Assuming you have all the obvious mustang mods, i would research different final drives, you got the tires covered very well, maybe look into upgraded intake, throttle body, plenum, retune, drop some weight, etc. Its prob gunna be hard to get into 12s naturally aspirated with just a grand i would think...though i dont know low budget too well lol. Just do like i said and bolt on a jet...that outta get you into the 12s lol.

i have gears, tb, plenum, pulleys, cai, shifter, bbk o/r x pipe,bbk lt headers, flowmaster catback for now! zex nitrous kit 125 shot right now, prob. leaving out something but i ran a 13.5 n/a. i want a n/a 12 sec slip.
