Default Keep My Gt a Daily Driver?

So here is my dilemma. Im 21 years old, getting ready to graduate from college and most likely will attend law school. I have an 03 gt that is basically stock. The only mods are flowmaster weld ins and eibach lowering springs. I do have a set of motive 3.90s and sct xcal tuner waiting to be installed. So here is what I have been thinking. The mustang is my daily driver, but I only drive about 5kmiles a year or so, but it does have to be as reliable as possible. Also I dont have an endless amount of money to pour into modding a car. So I have been pondering whether getting a fox body and making that a strictly fun car and keeping my 4.6 as a daily driver.

I am somewhat mechanically inclined and would really like to learn more about cars/engines and exactly how they function. I want to do work on my current car, but I am afraid of making mistakes and causing more damage and wasting more money than I should of had to.

So let me know what you guys think.....

Im always down for the Fox. The 93 LX sedan is amazing cheap and very simple to work on.

if u don't have alot of money y go with 2 fast cars when u could have one really fast car and still keep it a dd. im talking about a s/c. then u could even work up the suspension and that still won't effect ur dd

Buy and '05 GT. Much more bang for the buck right out of the shoot unmodified. A simple CIA can add as much as 25 to 30+ HP. Motor is very receptive to minor mods.

I definately say get a nice reliable intercooled 8-10psi s/c kit and a gooooood tune, then keep it a daily driver! My car is my DD too and my S/C kit is on the way!

The reasoning behind the fox was something that I could tinker with and learn along the way. Ok let me put it like this....

To make the gt run 12's without stripping it down is a supercharger-5k

How much would it be to make a fox run 12s?

I dont really know alot about the 5.0s but have always heard they were cheap.

If your looking at law school, I say save as much money as possible.

If you can swing it, supercharge your GT and call it a day. That way it can still be your DD...
