Default Densecharger

Just ordered the densecharger CAI fender to TB. Anybody who has this how long does it generally take to ship? Also how do you like your densecharger? I did a search for this but only found 1 good thread about it. I got a mixed vibe from the densecharger some liked it, some didnt, just wondering how you guys like your densechargers? Also is there anything I need to worry about as far as running lean or rich? I heard that you are suppose to point the filter down for best results and drive the car hard for 4-5 days to let the MAF adapt the difference in airflow anybody know if those are accurate?

dont you think that you should have asked for opinions on the product before you bought it? and another thing.. you should probably check with your distributor to find out how long it takes for shipping-they should have told you when you placed the order. and dont worry about your car running either rich or lean-you arent adding enough air to make any significant changes. i for one would have went with gears, as my first mod but the dense is good. let us know if you have any problems

I can't answer how long it'll take to be sent out, but any respectable company shouldn't take any longer than 48hours for any in-stock item to ship out.

Densechargers are better than your typical CAI. Disconnect your battery for a good 5 minutes and take her for a drive. Good buy Razor.

I just read through the previous posts and the website about densecharger, also I saw the article about the CAI testing on 03 cobras and the densecharger won that, obvioulsy I'm not gonna be making 25 rwhp like a cobra does just off the CAI but if the cobra performed the best with this CAI I would imagine my car would also. Not to mention it being plastic makes more sense, its a Cold air intake so any type of chrome intake will just heat up very quickly. Only thing I'm not quite sure about still is people say that there are too many bends in the densecharger CAI and that would affect the performance of it anybody know anything about this? This only cost me $170 gears would cost me around $400-500 with install.

u know wat, everybody laughs at me for this, but my custom intake works awesome. jus run to home depot spend about 30 in pvc and rubberfittings, and there ya go, u have ur own desnecharger for 1/10 the price! the way i designed mine i put the mass air flow meter in the fenderwall along with the filter, and i really noticed a difference when i put mine on. id take some pictures and show u guys, but i still have no idea how to load pictures into posts!

Here are some pics of the Densecharget kit. I was missing the cover plate can somebody tell me if all the other parts are there ok. Also like I said earlier it looks like I have 2 of the fender L-pieces the one with the nuts and bolts in the corner and the one without them. Am I suppose to have both of those?

I liked my densecharger, I didnt really care for the other chrome CAI's. the only problem I had with mine was the installation, I thought it was a little bit of a bihatch. but hey maybe thats because I dont like to read instructions!

I think the two pieces that you have is for the turn-down inside the fender well.

The section with the bolts obviously goes with your MAM, the other section turns down into the fender well with the filter on the end. The other tube is self-explanatory.

My kit was different on my 01 GT. My filter did not turn down, but pointed straight into the fender well.
