96 Cobra rear Brake Help

96 Cobra rear Brake Help
I wasn't paying attention and removed the brakes instead of the entire caliper on my 96 cobra while replacing a bad pinion bearing. No biggie just slide it back on.
Well it won't go right on so I removed the pads and put a C clamp on the caliper to squeeze it in. It won't budge. Do these calipers require a special tool or is mine froze and time to buy a new one?

RE: 96 Cobra rear Brake Help
the rear brake caliper piston needs to be screwed back in
you can go to a local auto parts store and rent one or buy one
ask them for a "Rear Disc Brake Piston Retraction Tool" buy make sure its for ford vehicles

Yes when you put the tool onto the cylinder, you turn it either left or right and as you turn it you push down in and tie cylinder will retract in. Also make sure you do one side at a time cause if not, theyll push eachother back out.
