Default 03 GT help please

Greetings, I have a 03 GT and I want to buy a steeda tri ax shifter and I want to double check my tranny. What tranny do I have? Thank you for all your infinite wisdom

Tremec 3650, get the TSB done for the 2-3 shift before you install it if the car is still under warrenty. They may not do the work with the shorty installed.

What is TSB??? I just installed the TRI AX in my 04 GT. Did I need to do something first??? Now you have me worried.

a TSB (technical service bullitin) is not a recall, its only advice for mechanics for when someone complains about gear grinding - you can't simply "have it done", you have to actually have a problem. Theirs 20 or 30 TSB's for that year Mustang, and yes its a TR3650 tranny. When you change the shifter it may be a good time to have the tranny fluid level changed. Ford now recommends via the TSB that fluid level be a 3.2 quarts instead of 3.6 or 3.8 I cant remember what it came with originally. This will help ensure smoother shifts.
