Default Clutch Sugestion

Well guys this Spec Stage 1 clutch is a real PITA its been in my car for over 2000 miles and still is chattering and making my car less enjoyable it also got very stiff and i have a feeling its about to crap out on me. Its gotta come out...I need a suggestion because I really enjoy stock engagements that dont chatter and so forth. Should I got stock GT clutch or should I upgrade to the terminator clutch. I know the pedal on those things are pretty stiff but anything is better than this POS I have now

you cant go with a clutch off of a term. the trans in the terms are t56 6 speed trans. they have different ammount of splines. i know the t-45 and the trem 3650 have different spines so i would think the t56 and trem 3650 would

if hes got the 3650 they dont make a king cobra for it. did you install it yourself? it shouldnt chatter after 2k miles, try going back to the shop where you got it installed and complain..... or buy a duralast clutch from autozone, they replace it if it ever wears out... i found this hard to believe but a buddy of mine has been doing it with cluches and brakepads for a while haha

EEhhh no not really. I hear the king's don't last that long! I was talking to someone it only lasted an oil change. Another it lasted 2 oil changes and another it only lasted 15kmi! They make them thinner than the norm for faster engagement.(I think it's on purpose so you have to keep buying them) If you have the money get a Centerforce Dual Friction. They run like $400 with new throwout bearing. I just got a Hays from Jegs for $250 with all the extras. It is the one made for s/c's and nitrous. Just got it in the mail and it loks pretty sweet. Ig you can wait about a month I can tell you how it is???

i thought the t45/3650/t56 all had 10 spline input shafts. the only diffrence between the t45 cars and the 3650 cars was the flywheel. one being 11" and one being 10.5". Everyone told me that the stock terminator clutch would fit with no problem

the person you know that says a king cobra lasts an oil change is obviously rediculous, i had a king cobra for over a year with no problems and i sold the car..... he obviously cannot drive. i would do a spec 2 or a centerforce if i were room, just more power room over the stock clutch

yes! Thats your problem right there.. you have the wrong setup... how did they even get htat to work? did the replace the flywheel, etc? thats.. very odd..

I have a spec stage 3 and I really never had any chatter.. just a tiny bit when taking off before I got used to the slip point.... spec's are usually really good about not chattering.
