Default Exhaust Help

Have 800 for new exhaust. Need to stay catted. Looking for more deep/loud sound then raspy/ricey

Any suggestions?

If your staying catted I would recommend spending the money on some bolt up mufflers of your choice and use the rest of the cash on other mods. There is such a negligable performance gain on catted x/h pipes it really doesn't make sense to spend all the money on them.

I'm in the same boat.
I'm looking for stock sound +1 louder, stainless and decent reputation.
I prefer quiet at idle, normal driving and some extra *noise* when I stomp on it.
IOw I like the hear the stereo when cruising on the highway.
Everything I read about the Magnaflows is good except the tip coming loose and that's easy to solve by replacing the setscrew with a bolt.

I'm looking at these:

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...can&id=284

One thing that confuses me is the sound clip video says 15673 which is the louder Magnapack.
I emailed them but got a canned reply.

Go Magnapacks or Stingers for catback and MRT catted H for midpipe! Best sounding combo I've heard if you want deep throaty American muscle.

Or perhaps a Bassani Catback, with their catted X-pipe. Their catted X pipe is a modular design so you can take the cats off and put the offroad legs on, swap the cats back in when its time for inspection.
