Depends on how much you drop it... Most people say you can drop it up to 2" and be perfectly fine.
I did the eibach pro kit (1.5" drop) and couldnt be happier and had no problems.

i did. had 1.5" springs installed and it still sits like a 4x4. i was told if i replace the struts it will drop on down but i don't know if this is true. i hope it'll work.

Once you lower it, get an alignment, this will make sure you dont have uneven tire wear.

unless you plan on doing more than 1.5" (like 2-3") you're fine. Beyond 1.5" youmay need a bump-steer kit, camber/caster plates, and probably new ball joints that offset the control arms so they are back in geometrysquared with the rest of the suspension. Shorter sway bar links is a must too for 2" or greater and new shocks/struts for the 2" or morein travel you just lost.

And before anyone says anything. There is a right way and a wrong way to lower a car. Drop a stang 2" or more you will have suspension that is out of geometry and will adversly affect handling and wear on your suspension.

1.5" is the easiest and cheapest.

Not true. Springs hold the car up, shocks/struts merely control the spring (dampen it)

Now if you go with Coil overs (strut and spring on one frame) those are adjustable.

Ya just got 1.5".... You will be paying an easy $500+ just to get that extra half inch or so... And if you still think you sit like a truck after getting the pro kit you should probably just get a honda and slam it so that when you bottom out and your car dies noone will care

If you are only dropping it 1.5" you should be fine without caster/camber plates and the bumpsteer kit. I would recommend replacing the shocks and struts, since lowering springs are stiffer than stock you need a shock that can handle the increased demands.
