yeah why are we spray painting our mustangs. i mean the pics look good and i am sure it looks good in person....but how long will it last?

It will last a very long time. I used rustoleum flat protective enamel. It is the same kinda paint you use on a grill. I used it on my 4wheeler and it lasted 3 years before I sold it and it never had a scratch.

I cleaned the area very good then taped off the area and emblems. Used a scratch pad to scuff the area, and cleaned again with grease and wax remover. Then I sprayed 4 light coats and let dry. From start to finish it took 1.5 hours. I do alot of painting on cars and just because you use a rattle can doesnt mean that it is bad paint. As long as you know what you are doing you wont even be able to tell the difference. Hell I painted my 85 F250 with rattle can paint and it looked good.

It does look good. I`m gonna get the decal for mine instead of painting it. Therefore if I dont like it for some reason down the line, I can justpeel it off.

hmmmm...i wanna try it.....bu im no painter, and im afraid i would fugg it up some how, and end up with big blobs/thick spots of paint, or who knows what else..
