I like the composite. But I am going for the Mach 1 when I get my MGW.

composite, the gripper is really ugly its like a prune with a logo on it, as far a mach 1 **** its really nice but gets extreemly hot during the summer, i like the stock leather wrapped more then that. I want the composite **** 1 day

Hahaah that pic cracks me up. Yeah the composite looks wayyy better I'd have to say. Think I will go with it. Also it looks to have more leverage than the gripper, which is basically just a rubber ball, wherewas the composite is contoured to the hand and just looks more durable. For some reason the stock **** slides out of my hands too much now that I have the MGW. Maybe it's because of the positioning of the shifter.

Can't you just cut the stock boot in order to make the MGW stick out? Also is the Gripper made out of foam? I guess that might be a stupid question.
You could, however you'd have to hem it and bunch it with a tie to keep it from looking like crap--it easier and nicer looking to just make a new boot. The Gripperhas a rather firmrubberised feel, definately not foam...

Definitely not a fan of the handle hanging out, but hey, whatever works for you. Anyway, I have the FRPP handle and love it. It's leather, and sexy, take a look: http://www.americanmuscle.com/frppshift.html

Thanks cliffy, Yeah I remembered when you posted the pics of your boot, and I ended up doing it myself. It was really easy to do, and I gotta say, it looks sooooo awesome. I want to get one of those Mach 1 ***** because the round ***** look way better. Thanks for the inspiration!!!

It's a bit too bold and agressive a statement for some tastes,it's nice to know I'm not the only one drawn to the bare machine, utilitarian look...

I say composite. I like the way it feels, but the gripper are cool looking.

I want the Billit Mach 1 ****, but the stock one looks fine for now. UntilI know exactly what I want, this is what I got so far:

what the heck is that mess!

8 ball FTW. really heavy plastic and i love the retro oldschool look to it.

I got the gripper just for looks. When I got it I fell in love with the feel. You won't regret the gripper!
