Default Slight jerking or chugging

For some reason I have started noticing a slight jerking or chugging when I'm just driving along, mainly in 3rd gear. It happens mostly between 1500-2500 RPMs. It almost feels like something is slipping, but my clutch is only about 6 months or so old. I am hearingthe TOB squeak though when the clutch is not pushed in. I'm hoping my tranny isn't going bad [:@]Any ideas on what it could be? It isn't extremely noticable, but I can still feel it.

Mine did the same thing before my clutch went in January. I have a new clutch and guess what, it's doing the same thing again. It feels like it slips and chugges when cruising or under light throttle. I'm thinking it's my firewall adjuster.

Clutch cableadjustment (too tight) would be the first thing I'd check...

to the o/p if it's jerking while you're justcruising along, then i would doubt it's the trans, especialy since you have a have 5 speed. when was the car last serviced?

in an auto its the torque converter, mine does it, its fixed with an aftermarket tuner. for a 5 speed, ive never heard of the jerking.. especially on a new clutch. unless uve been riding it, i dunno why it would give out after 6 months. id talk to the company you got the clutch from, maybe it was defective.

I get the oil changed every 3k miles, and just got it done about a week ago. I just replaced all spark plugs a couple of months ago because of a misfire that still isnt fixed. Could a misfire cause what feels like a slight lugging? Like I said, its not very hard or very noticable. I also replaced the coil pack on Cyclinder 3 (the misfire one). I guess I will have to look into wires next =\
