Default UPDATE ON OIL LEAK IN BACK OF MY CAR

I had my car parked in the driveway after driving it, and I noticed there was some oil (or something that looks like oil)on the ground behind thedrivers side rear wheel.Inoticed thatit was dripping off the exhaust pipe, sothen I got tolookin and there was oil all inside the wheel and all kinds of oil splattered inside the fenderwell. Can anyone tell me what might of happened? Thanks for any advice that may help

Rear pinion seal, differential throwing oil all over the place while the driveshaft is spinning?

If thats whats wrong, what does it take to fix the problem, and how much do you think it will cost?

Axleshaft seal let loose?

Dirty brake fluid maybe?

Check your brake fluid tank, if full... my guess is one of the bearings/seals in the rear. You should be capable of fixing it.

If its in the wheel and wheel well, Shadow is on with this, either brake caliper leaking OR axle seal. If it is the pinion seal it will spray across the underside of the car, good luck.

I had a pinion seal go bad on me... It was throwing oil all over the underside/exhaust when I was driving it... Try and replace that... I did this by my self.. I just had to get the car jacked up and get the part from auto zone... maybe gear oil leaking somehow???
