I've seen that on E-Bay as well. It looks like it would be great for a full PI swap.

I completed my swap and put in the T with both sensors plugged in. However my temp gauge doesnt seem to work as well as it did. It almost seems like it isnt getting a good reading thru the T. Will the T cause some inaccurate readings?

it is possible it might read lower because the coolant isnt really flowing into the t, but instead its jsut flowing past it.

Default RE: PI Intake Swap---How To

i just finished it and have a strong recommentation!

here is my recommendation to all NPI guys who want to do the PI intake swap:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/96-98...mZ360047636138

the guy i bought it from has the shop Custom Mustang of South Florida (www.custommustang.com) and that was his ebay account, there could not be a better more complete kit for the intake swap.(~$315)

for the$315 you get everything you needto do the swap, ALL NEW FORD PARTS! Ford Racing PI inkate manifold (aluminum crossover),FRPP intake gaskets, the FRPP heater hose (the one that runs through the valley), the water pump nipple, water pump o-ring, t-stat o-ring, the grey RTV, and some of the best directions and support that youcould find anywhere. he even gives you a number that you can call for help after 6 PM (eastern time). i didnt even need to call him though, the directions were so clear!

the only things that you really need that arent included in the kit are fuel injector o-rings (need 16) ~$6, coolent (and maybe some redline), and this would be a great time to get a 180* thermostat ($10).

the power increase was even more than expected to me and it really changes the feel of the car.

it took me about 5 hours total and it was very simple.

i was just so impressed with the kit and support i thought i would share it with you all. I actually called him after it was completed and recommended that he advertise here on mustang forums.

Question for you guys that have done this. Does the Pi manifold raise the height of the plenum/thottle body, becuase right now I have a 75mm throttle body and plenum with a cold air intake and it just barely fits under the cross member. Thanks guys
