Default RE: GT vs. Cobra vs. Mach

This thread's a bit old... But I just traded an 04 GT convertiblefor an 01 Cobra convertible (only 26k miles) and I love it. They were/are both stock and even an average schmoe like me can feel the difference with the extra power and the handling with the IRS. I frickin love it. I'm now reading up on modding and am about to add a catback and a CAI for sure, and maybe short headers after thatthough it looks like they'll be a pain to install on the Cobra compared to the GT.I get 25mpg on the highway which is the same as what I got in the GT so I've lost nothing there. I dropped about 1mpg around town, but that ain't bad all. There were sooo many 99-04 V6s and GTs sold and so few Cobras, that's worth considering too. The Cobra attracts more looks and more conversation from random folks, which Ilike.

So if you're like me, an average guy that's not really a car buff, and you have the option between a GT and a Cobra, trust me go for the Cobra. No brainer.
