Default 03/04 Cobra or 99-04 GT

What is a better platform for power and overall performance.... a 2v Mustang GT or a 4v 03/04 Cobra??? Let's say you we're to have a 500rwhp GT and a 500rwhp Cobra... which would be more reliable on a stock bottom end??? Which would you rather have?

From what I have read on here in several threads, the stock 2V GT motor won't hold 500rwhp for long. There may be few exceptions (there always are) but for the most part, that motor will get ripped apart.

On the other hand, the terminator motors are already forged and can hold that power level much better, stock.

Now if the 2V GT motor was built and forged, it would be a coin toss IMO. But the terminator's T56 tranny will hold 500rwhp while the T45/TR3650 found in the 2V GTs wouldn't hold for long (again, few exceptions).

cobra hands down for reasons stated above (already forged motor, better tranny, etc...)

To the OP, you're trying to prove someone wrong, aren't you?

I seriously hope so as well. Otherwise, this guy needs to check himself into a home for the mentally unfit.
