Hey guys, just wondering. Does anyone know what the difference in HP gains is with the SCT tune on a stock gtVS. the DiabloSport tune on a stock GT? I'm talking out of the box tune as well. Not modified. And does anyone have proof of these numbers(Dyno, etc.).

no clue on the hp gains but i imaginethere wont be any more then a 2hp difference between the 2.

Yeah prolly not much of a difference. I heard the Diablos allow you to do more but that might come at a cost of your motor.

SCT all the way i gained 11 more hp with the same tune between SCT and Diablo...looking for dyno sheets as i type

Call your local tuner and see what they use/prefer. Then, get that one.

I have a Diablosport tuner. I noticed it ran quicker + ran alot better. + I like all the features you can do. Even a few days ago the check engine light came on and I read the code, cleared it, and replace/fixe what I had to fix (o2 sensor). + having bigger tires/gears, I fixed my speedometer (was off). I think you can do that with the other tuners.

i was planning on buying one or the other from american muscle .com they offer one free tune and $15.00 bucks for another are they worth buying i have a 02 gt with 70mm tb/plenum fenderwell cai with a k&n filter flowmaster super 44 the only other upgrades im doing with then the next year is off road h-pipe and underdrive pulleys would a tuner help these bolt on im just looking to gain another 10-15 rwhp thats enough for me you can only go so fast on the streets

i have both. I like them both. I would say its a toss up. but switching between tunes, the engine gets used to the new tune faster when I use the diablo.
