Default car died...

well i recently made a post regarding my stang acting up when i hit the gas up to 4 k and it felt like it bogged out.well on my way home today i start feeling th eengine acting up and when i acelerated from first the car starts bogging out like its gona turn off and then wen i pulled in a gas station it died.i waited 10 min and tried tunring the car on again.no problem cars ryuning normal like nothing happened.this is the second time this happens.does this mean i need a new fuel pump or someone told me the injectors could be messed up.what do you guys think?thanks for the help.

Sounds like it might be the alternator. Had a similiar thing happen to my winter beater before it got totaled. [:@]

exactly same thing was happening with my car. at almost exactly 4k it would boglike i took my foot off the gas. and a few times i would start it up and when i would come to a stop soon after i started driving it would stall out.

i didnt get around to fixing it yet. it did it a couple times and then shortly afterwards i spun a bearing. i dont think they were related though because i also had a tick in my engine and was told it was nothing to worry about when i took it to a performance shop and asked about it but im pretty sure that what the tick was is now the spun bearing.

maybe they could be related then like the computer sensing something wrong and shutting it down or something?? i dont know. i know there are a lot of people who have had problems with a tick in the front of their engine and it was the timing tensioner but my tick was coming from the back of the engine and the knock is deffinately coming from the lower rear end. where is your tick coming from? im going to be pulling the engine this weekend and will be able to find out exactly what it is but it really sounds like a spun bearing.

my tick sounds under the car too.like around the header area.how much do you think that cost to fix.im 19 low income and this cars been giving me alot of problems recently.it tunred off on me again today so im not driving it anymore.everytime the gas goes down to a quarter tank it starts acting up.i think i have two disticnt problems.idk wat to do.

Fuel filter...its quick easy and inexpensive. If it's clogged it will do exactly what you're describing
