Default ALL MUSTANGS, FRONT END SUSPENSION

So i drive a 2004 GT. Its my first mustang, and ive had it for about 7 months now. Ive noticed that at times, the front end tends to float all over the play. Esp, when im braking, but also when driving too.

I know that the mustang has some kinda weird front suspension set up. But is this something normal, do you feel this "floating" in your mustang?

Any input would be great, thanks!

ok...how about this:

my front end feels like it "drifts" .....side to side. it doesnt sway bymuch, but it is enough to make you wana let up outta the gas if you got it down.

if im holding the wheel and going staright, sometimes it just kinda drifts....floats.....wanders

i asked my father, he drives a 95 gt and has been a long time nustang man. he says its normal, but i wanted to see if any of ya'll have noticed this?

hrmms, if its wandering, what size tires are in the front? Does the tires feel like it wobbles? do you only feel it in turns? are you sure its the front and not the rear end trying to swing out? what speeds?

First thing to check is tire pressure. If one side is significantly less then the other, it will pull to the lower side. Next thing is to check for alignment problems? if its doing it under braking it can warped rotors or something along those lines.

check out the front end for any play, wheel bearings, tie rods, ball joints.

My old tires would do that because of the tread design. They were Kuhmos. I only really noticed it when they were fairly new.
