Default 1.7L Kenne Bell

Can I throw on a 1.7L Kenne Bell supercharger on a stock engine? Will it support it reliably?
Also would it be a not so good decision to get Eibach drag launch springs and drive on the street a lot with them? cause I'm gunna be doin a lot more daily street driving then at the track.

I know with S/C you have to get a tune. And with forcing air into the engine, as opposed to sucking it in with naturally aspirated ones, you have to have good exhaust flow, so long tube headers--at least mid-lengths-- and other exhaust items are HIGHLY recommended. I know the trannies are not the most reliable with large amounts of hp, but as for engines I read an article in MMFF of a GT with stock block, rods, and pistons putting down 540 rwhp! this is the article: http://musclemustangfastfords.com/tech/0405mm_pats/
So I think it can take it!

Yes you can. As long as you don't go over 9 PSI. And why don't you just get lowering springs?

The Kenne Bell comes with a chip thats tuned for the blower, but its not all that great.
Get a dyno tune and you'll be good to go.

Why would he get lowering springs, he wants to go faster?

Instead of drag launch springs. Cause he drives it more on the street.

they aren't designed the same. drag springs will have different rates so the front can pop up and the back end can press down hard on the tires to keep traction but lowering springs are just for looks/handling and make launching more difficult to control

So would it be bad to get drag springs and drive around on the street/highway?

and make launching more difficult to control
I think you should have said "make tire spin more difficult to control"

I just installed the Eibach Sportline springs along with lots of other suspension goodies, my traction now is much more manageable.
