Default Cold Air Intake?

Hello everyone. I am new to this site and I have one simple question. I have an 01 GT and when I purchased it, it already had a BBK CAI installed. I am just wondering if I am wasting my time looking for a different brand. I have heard that AEM Brute Force is good as well as Injen but I need some more advice. I would appreciate any recommendations. Thanks.

I would stick with the BBK over the others. I have one on mine and it was a great improvement. its not worth the money to buy another one when the bbk is perfectlythe same,if not better than the others.....just what i think

Yea stick to the BBK, they are $180 new and similar ones are in the same price range. I wouldnt waste your money, you have one of the best, and honestly they dont do all that much in my opinion.

A CAI won't do all that much for you no matter what brand you get, so I would just keep the BBK. Save the money you'd spend on a new one and buy a shifter (asuming it's a manual) or save for some gears!

To everyone was had replied, thanks, and I think I probably will stick with the BBK. A Bassani exhaust and x-pipe were also already installed when I purchased the car along with a Steeda Tri-Ax shifter. It has also been lowered with Eibach sportline springs. What is another good power add-on anyone would recommend that won't cost me my savings account? I've thought about adding a chip or using a plug-in tuner. Anyone who has advice please feel free to chime in. Thanks.

gears are cheap and are worth it but it can get costly if a shop does it unless you know how to do it yourself..but a TB, pullies, plenum, tuner will all work as a start for cheap hp, it wont add alot like a s/c or nitrous but every lil bit helps out

thanks for ending your post the way you did by saying every little bit helps because on this forum 90% of the people will always tell you any upgrade other then a s/c or gears dont work alot of us are not looking to race but just want simple upgrades thats better then stock to if you gain 2hp or 10hp its still hp gained so its all worth the money

I agree with the majority. I am getting a BBK fenderwell kit and I only hear good things. And if you already have once then thats a bonus. The only thing you'll have to do is worry about the filter. I believe they come with rechargable filters so you just need to buy the cleaning kit. Those run for about $10-20 Bucks. Enjoy.
