Default Chin Spoiler...

I recently got a chin spoiler for my 03 as a christmas gift but funny thing is it doesn't fit right. It was ordered from AmericanMuscle.com for my model and we called and verified that it is indeed the correct chin spoiler. The thing is the ends don't line up flush with thefender, it ended up being about 1/2"-3/4" too short. My brother has a chin spoiler on his and it lines up perfectly. Just to pacify us, AmericanMuscle agreed to let us return it and sent us another but it still didn't line up right. I think it looks kind of tacky and I must say I am a little disappointed AmericanMuscle didn't do much more to be of any help. Does anyone else have alignment issues?

This is an image of my brothers alignment, don't have any pictures of mine but just imagine the chin spoiler being about and inch shorter on both sides. Hope the link works.

This is how mine is:

Just line up the two fenders first and then the front edge will be where it should be. A common thing people do is to line up the front edge with the front fascia to where the front sticks out a bit and the two fenders dont line up with the sides of the chin spoiler because its short. So just line em up as best as you can.

They aren't supposed to sit flush with the front of the bumper

It's supposed to sit flush at the ends, but then about 1/4" or so behind the very front of the bumper.

Hope that makes sense AND helps??

I wish this was posted yesterday in the AM, before I put mine on. I plan on redoing it to day lining the fender edges 1st. I just will have a few more drainage holes.[X(]
