I just recently bought my Stang (an '03 Stage 2 Roush, if the name didn't give it away) and since the day I got it, the accelerator would stick at fully closed, but only while the car is on. When the car is off, the pedal is as smooth as butter. Starting off makes me feel like a moron cuz I always lurch out of first. I noticed one or two others had this problem but they never got any solutions. Anyone have any ideas?

well since you just got it i would take it back to ford and let it be their problem.

Well, I got a 75,000 mile warranty (only had 34,000) but then I refinanced with a credit union and got their warranty. I'm not quite sure how all that works out... And I'm not trying to get off topic here, but what is the typical idle for a GT?
