Default new shocks

well my rear shocks are trashed already and i need some new ones.yes i searched and so far ive found that i should either go with bilstein or kyb shocks.any of you guys have used these brands?whats the best shock for your money worth out there that can perform well.or are there any other types you recomend.while im already making this post i might as well ask what brake pads do you recomend as well?thanks for those who help.

im gonna go with the tokiko (spelling) d spec's when i get mine there fully adjustable. but my opinion really doesnt amount to crap since i dont have them yet [8D]

lol.i forgot to add in there tokico(spelling as well).i like the fact they re adjustable.are the other brands adjustable?

im sure they all make their version of adjustible one's, ive just alwase been a fan of the tokico's. they all do the same thingand they all do it pretty much the same way[8D]

Go with the Tokicos. They are the closest you'll get to the Bilsteins, but for a fraction of the cost. Plus they perform great. I have the gas blue tokico shocks and struts, and I love them.

there are 2sets of shock in the rear right?
the quad shock and the regular shock?

i just got some kyb for my 5.0. put them in over the weekend. struts too. this is my first experience with them, but i love the handling power. maybe it's just because i was used to the stock suspension with all the horsepower load on it, and also being the original after 128k miles. blistein is probably the best for longetivity. kyb is more of a racing shock i would say.

ok thanks for the replies.im leaning towards tokico or kyb's.when they say they re adjustable do they mean you can switch from a street setup to a track setup?i dont really know much about suspension.
