Default Backpressure stock restrictions....

I have the O/R H pipe, with 2 chamber Flows and stock 2 1/4 piping the rest of the way back. Is this creating any restrictions on my F/I application? Will I see any increase or gain by either dumping or increasing the piping?

very little, if your midpipe is 3" and you switch to a 3" catback setup like magnaflow you will probably see a few HP but i wouldnt do it unless you have the cash laying around

A few HP is worth it... Also I've been told in the past (old hotrodders) that dumps help scavenging and can create quicker boost numbers. Any thoughts?

Trust me, I am.
I wouldn't think that there would be THAT big of a difference, but that is just me. I am sure that you might gain a few, but like stated before, do you have that much cash around?

I'd leave the dumps for the summer because I like the sound also. I had dumps before and they where amazing...Only thing is they resonate like crazy and I couldn't deal with it on last trip to Cali so I welded the stock pipes back up.

Although dumps do sound good, I just couldn't sacrifice the fumes in the car on my daily driving travel. For me, while sitting at a red light or just parked, it blows too much dirt and dust on my car.

Not going to add much power. I did the dumps and didn't notice anything, however I had a full magnaflow catback before that.

LTs would make more power on a FI car than a catback, but your going to need to at least check the tune if not retune the car afterwards.
