Default Condensation..

On my 02 If I pull the two tabs on my headlights off will they just pull out? I just got this car and I'm still getting use to the new body design, my old one was a 1998. Reason being is the headlights have condensation in them and are foggy on the inside, I want to either try to remedy this or buy some new headlights.

you could aslo put them in the oven until the silicon seal gets soft and press the seems together as hard as you can and reseal it with some RTV, thats what I did and worked just fine, but before you put it in the oven I used a hairdryer to get rid of all the condensation before I put it in the oven.

Sorry to steal the thread....
I used a hairdryer to remove condensation, but how did you get rid of the damn water spots on the INSIDE of the housing as a result?
I'm so mad!

way i fixed mine (had about a half glass of water in mine & was the driver side). I made a little hole in plastic in the bottom right edge where your yellows are. Laid it on its side for about an hour, than held a blow dryer to the inside (with it still facing down.) After thatI put around 2-3 crumbled paper towels inside and moved them around with a wire coat hanger (VERY GENTLY) to soak up the rest of the moisture. Bought some silicon sealant as stated above, and put a bead around the WHOLE light not just where I suspected the holes were.Check it when it dried andadded more sealantto places i felt needed it. Put them back on and were good as new. I did this back in Octoberand I haven't had a problem since.

I just bought an 04gt and the drivers side headlight has the same problem. What im gatthering is to pull the headlight out, seperate the 2 pieces, blow dry it dry, re seal it with silicone. If i were to purchase new headlights, should i get them both or just the one side. thanks
