Default magnaflow mufflers

I currently have a MAC O/R X pipe and magnapack mufflers on my 04 gt. Its too loud for daily driving and im tired of having to shift at like 1700 so that i dont get pulled over.

anyone know any good websites I can pick up a couple magnaflow mufflers for a decent price. i've been looking around and haven't been able to find many. id appreciate any suggestions.

thanks guys

maybe just swap out the midpipe for a prochamber.

there's the difference. I mean you can't really tell considering the camera is in my car, but he def. overpowers my exhaust.

yeah my exhaust is that loud too haha but im not taking off my MAC O/R X, it sounds too nice haha i like it better than the way the prochamber sounds. im going to just swap out my mufflers if i can find a decent price.

I'm not sure how easy that's going to be because from what I can tell the packs are straight through inlets and outlets where the standard Magnaflow are offset.
You might need some piping work done as well.

I have the regular Magnaflow catback BTW and the sound is great with the stock H-pipe although it does drone.

when i had my 01gt, I went on magnaflows website got there number and gave them a call. They might give you a good price since you only want 2 mufflers.

I need someone to film my car when I put a load on it... but I'm the only one with a decent camera outta my friends.

it's not as loud as the X but it's loud enough.

www.completeexhaust.com will sell the entire catback for $319 shipped to forum members. Call them and see how much just the mufflers. You must mention that deal and tell them that you are a forum member though.
